Bean ToteやHelmet Bagなどのトートは、なんだかんだ持ち手が痛みやすい。
色褪せてくるし、もはやボロボロになっているものもあるくらい。

Totes like the Bean Tote or Helmet Bag tend to have handles that wear out easily over time.
They fade in color, and in some cases, they become completely worn and tattered.

そんなビンテージ好きが当たり前に感じる持ち手が、もっとポジティブになるようなアイテムが出来ないか…
それがこのハンドルを考えた始まりでした。

I wondered if it might be possible to create a handle that vintage lovers could see in a more positive light, rather than just something that wears down.
That was the starting point for creating this handle.

BAG自体にこだわっているので、イタリアンバケッタレザーを使用してインポート感のある雰囲気を意識しました。
ベジタブルタンニン鞣しのバケッタレザーは、オイル分がしっかりと染み込んでいるため、ツヤが出て色も濃くなり、自分だけのエイジングに変化します。

Because I am particular about the bags themselves, I chose Italian vachetta leather to give them an imported, premium feel.
Vegetable-tanned vachetta leather is rich in oils, which develop a glossy finish and deepen in color over time, creating a unique patina that reflects your personal use.

そして昔からアメリカのアウトドアメーカーの金具は、アンティークゴールドの真鍮色が多いんです。
こちらのスナップは通常販売されていない本真鍮メッキになっていて、真鍮ならではのエイジングをお楽しみ頂けます。

Traditionally, many American outdoor brands have used antique gold brass hardware.
The snap fasteners on this handle feature genuine brass plating, which is not normally available for retail, allowing you to enjoy the unique aging process of real brass.

持ち手の握りやすさや、エイジングレザーならではのしっとりとした手触り。
キャンバストートと共に、レザーのエイジングも一緒に楽しめるプロダクトです。

With an easy-to-grip shape and the smooth, rich feel unique to aging leather,
this product allows you to enjoy the aging process of the leather alongside your canvas tote.

デラックストート用は4cm幅のハンドルです。

The Deluxe Tote handles are 4cm wide.

※こちらは革の入荷時期によって色ブレが大きい革になりますので、実物が写真より薄くなったり、濃くなったりします。
経年変化が早いアイテムですので、ご使用の際には気になりにくいのですが予めご了承ください。

Because the leather’s color varies greatly depending on the timing of arrival, the actual product may be lighter or darker than in the photos.
This leather ages quickly, so any difference in shade becomes less noticeable with use, but please be aware before purchase.

The leather is machine-cut for accuracy, but since each piece is hand-sewn and hand-finished, there may be slight variations in stitching and details.

※革製品ですので、水を含んだ状態での使用は衣服に色移りする可能性があります。
また、水ジミになる恐れがありますので、雨の日のご使用にはご注意ください。

As this is a leather product, using it when wet may cause color transfer to clothing.
It may also develop water stains, so please avoid using it in the rain.
